Nova 700

Nova 700

Manufacturer: Air Star
Year: 1997

The Nova 700 was the first gun made by Air Star. The nova 700 and the supper nova both had no bolt, the barrel of the guns actuated back and forth. When the trigger was pulled the barrel would move backwards sealing off the feed port and then the gun would fire. To take off the barrel you would have to degas the gun and then give the barrel a 1/4 turn and pull forward to remove it. The story goes, an engineer that invented a T-Shirt shooter for stadiums to shoot shirts to the fans had a son that played paintball and he said he could modify his T-Shirt shooter to shoot a paintball.
